What You Need to Know Ahead of Tonight’s €49 Million Eurojackpot Draw
Friday 1st February 2019 11:00 AM

There have been over 3.13 million winners in the four Eurojackpot draws so far in 2019. Of those winning entries, 13 ticket holders have matched all five numbers and one Euro number, but a jackpot-winning entry remains elusive. With an eye-catching €49 million up for grabs tonight, find out what you need to know here to be in with a chance of winning the eight-figure windfall.

Four Rollovers This Year

There were more than 53.1 million winners and 10 jackpots claimed in 2018 and, whilst it is too early to gauge whether this year will surpass its predecessor, a string of rollovers has increased excitement amongst players from all 18 participating countries ahead of tonight’s draw. The latest draw on 25th January was the lottery’s fourth successive rollover after a €19.2 million sum was split between two winning tickets in Germany and the Netherlands on 28th December of last year.

Play Online or In-Store

It couldn’t be easier for experienced players and lottery newbies alike to enter Eurojackpot this evening, and you don’t have to reside in one of the participating countries to be able to play. Those that do call the likes of Croatia, Finland and Poland home can visit an authorised retail store to fill out a play card. You just have to select five main numbers between 1 and 50 followed by two Euro numbers between 1 and 10, providing you are at least 16 years old in Estonia and 18 years of age or over in the rest of the participating countries.

However, if you are playing from overseas, you can still choose your numbers online from various locations around the world using lottery concierge services such as Jackpot.com. All winnings will be paid into your online account, and you will also be notified via email of any prizes you have won.

Were the estimated €49 million jackpot to be won tonight, it would be one of the biggest prizes claimed in the lottery’s history. There are 12 prize tiers on offer in every draw, starting from matching just two main numbers and one Euro number, so there is plenty to play for beneath the jackpot. The length of time you have to claim a prize depends on the country you bought your ticket from, so visit our How to Claim page for a full lowdown on what you need to do to collect your winnings.

As always, tonight’s draw will be held at 21:00 EET in Helsinki, Finland, and you can find the winning numbers and prize breakdown on our Results page shortly after. Good luck!
