Danish lottery officials have congratulated the latest Eurojackpot winner after someone from the country won €10 million (63 million kroner) in Friday night’s draw.

The winning numbers for Friday 3rd April were 9, 10, 18, 22 and 37, plus Euro numbers 1 and 11. More than 582,000 players picked up prizes across the 19 participating countries, but only one ticket matched all the numbers.

Danske Spil, operator of the Danish National Lottery, revealed that the winner was based in Valby, Copenhagen, and had spent 150 kroner on 10 lines while playing on their mobile phone.

“It's incredible that it's once again a Dane who wins the first prize in Eurojackpot. We happily pay out millions of dollars every week, but it's still something special when it's a prize of that magnitude. What a way to kick off Easter,” said Malene Mølgaard, CEO of Danske Lotteri Spil.

“We look forward to speaking with the lucky winner and congratulating them on their win. It's an amount that can really change people's lives, which is why we always offer our free millionaire advice to big winners so they get a good start on life as a multi-millionaire.”

It is the 14th time that a Dane has won Eurojackpot’s top prize, following on from the previous win of 149 million kroner (€23 million) back in December 2025. The national record is the 760 million kroner (€120 million) jackpot that went to a ticket holder from Trianglen, Østerbro in June 2024. The latest winner has three years to claim their prize.

Two Jackpot Wins in a Row

Friday’s success made it two jackpot wins in the space of a week, after a German player landed €70 million on Tuesday 31st March. The German winner came from North Rhine-Westphalia and spent €18.75 on nine entries.

It is not uncommon for the jackpot to be won in consecutive draws, and it also happened a few weeks ago when players from Germany and Slovenia matched all the numbers in successive draws.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 139,838,160, but the game is so popular across Europe that many of the possible combinations are always covered. If the jackpot keeps rolling, it can reach a maximum of €120 million.

For now, the jackpot will stay at its starting amount of €10 million after Friday’s win. Take part online or visit a retailer in any of the participating nations.
