The maximum Eurojackpot prize of €120 million was snapped up on Tuesday 23rd April, as two lucky tickets matched all the numbers. The winners came from Germany and Slovenia.

Eight Millionaires

The winning numbers for the record-equalling draw were 2, 3, 6, 15 and 35, with Euro numbers 1 and 3. Across all the participating countries, there were more than 1.3 million prizes paid out, including eight worth more than €1 million.

Each of the jackpot winners will be able to claim €60 million. The German player came from North Rhine-Westphalia and reportedly lives near Siegen. No information has yet been disclosed about the Slovenian winner, who now has 90 days to come forward.

In the previous draw on Friday, the jackpot had fallen just short of its €120 million cap. Once it reached its limit, the extra funds that would normally have been added to the top were instead diverted to the Match 5 + 1 Euro number category. This created a prize pool of more than €20 million in the second tier.

There were six participants who ended up matching all five main numbers and one Euro number, with each one netting €3.4 million. Two of these winners came from Germany, two from the Czech Republic and two from Poland. See the Draw Details to find out about all the prizes won on Tuesday night.

More Big Winners in 2024

Tuesday’s draw marked the second time in 2024 that the jackpot had reached €120 million. Back in January, a Norwegian woman won the maximum amount and instantly became her country’s biggest-ever lottery winner.

The jackpot has been won on three other occasions since the start of the year, including another time when there were multiple winners. On 23rd February, Swedish and German ticket holders split €30 million.

In an eventful year for Eurojackpot, the game has also branched out to a 19th participating country, with tickets going on sale in Greece on 6th March.

With so many players buying tickets across Europe and draws on Tuesday and Friday, it does not take long for the jackpot to grow. It is currently back at €10 million, so make sure you give yourself a chance to become the next big winner. Go to the Play Eurojackpot page to find out how you can take part.
