The Eurojackpot draw on Friday 26th August might have ended in a rollover, but that didn’t stop two German ticket holders from winning €614,363 each. Both players matched five main numbers and one Euro number to win handsome six-figure prizes and become the largest winners on the night.

The winning numbers were 4, 8, 9, 33 and 43 with Euro numbers 5 and 9. In addition to the biggest prize winners on the night, four players from Germany (x2), Italy and Spain each won €108,417 after matching the five main numbers drawn. More than 561,000 other ticket holders won prizes worth between €7.60 for matching two main numbers and one Euro number to €6,883 for matching four main numbers and both Euro numbers. For a complete breakdown of prizes and information about the draw, head to the Eurojackpot Results page.

With no player able to match all five numbers and two Euro numbers in the last draw, the jackpot total increases for the fourth consecutive week and now stands at an estimated €36 million ahead of Friday’s game. Any potential winner would become the seventh ticket holder to pick up a jackpot this year, a total that would see 2016 move level with 2015 in terms of the number of top prize winners produced. The winner would also be the first recipient of the top prize since a player from Germany successfully matched all seven numbers drawn to win an amazing €84.7 million on Friday 29th July.

If you would like to take your place amongst the Eurojackpot winning elite and claim Friday’s prize as your own, tickets can be purchased online from around the world or from authorised retailers in any of the 17 participating countries. Good luck!
