A Eurojackpot player from Spain matched all the numbers in Friday night’s draw to become the game’s latest big winner. The top prize was worth an impressive €71.2 million.

The numbers drawn on 24th July were 4, 6, 8, 17 and 22, with Euro numbers 7 and 10. There were more than 900,000 winning tickets across all the prize categories, including three players who matched all five main numbers and one Euro number to win €760,078 each.

The only ticket that matched all the numbers was sold in Lleida, making it Spain's seventh jackpot win since Eurojackpot launched in March 2012. The winner now has 90 days to come forward and claim their prize.

The jackpot had not previously been won since someone from Germany landed €87.2 million on 26th June. It could have kept rolling up to a maximum of €120 million before it would have been capped.

A number of players have won €120 million in the past. It most recently happened on 27th May, when a Czech ticket holder equalled the Eurojackpot record.

The jackpot will now reset to €10 million, and with draws continuing every Tuesday and Friday night it will soon start climbing quickly again.

You can take part by visiting authorised retailers in any of the 19 participating countries, or by choosing numbers online.
