The top prize in Eurojackpot was given away on Friday night as one lucky player from Norway matched all five main numbers plus both Euro numbers to scoop NOK 441.2 million (€47.3 million). It is only the second time in history that the jackpot has been won in Norway, following Yngvar Borgerson’s €13.4 million success in May 2013.

The numbers drawn on Friday night were 1, 4, 20, 32 and 34, with Euro numbers 3 and 6. Norwegian lottery officials have revealed the all-important ticket belonged to a man, having contacted the winner straight away. He wishes to remain anonymous, but did say that he might try to spend some of his winnings on a football player for his favourite team.

As well as the jackpot winner, there were four participants on Friday who matched all five main numbers plus one Euro number to pick up €415,861 each. Two of these winners came from Finland, while the other two were from Hungary.

Another three players - one each from Finland, Germany and Hungary - matched five main numbers to win €195,699, while the other prizes ranged between €8.30 for matching two main numbers plus one Euro number to €4,773 for matching four main numbers plus two Euro numbers. Take a look at the Eurojackpot Results page for more information.

Eurojackpot’s top prize had been building since a Finnish player won €46.5 million on 7th July, and the top prize will now reset to €10 million for the next draw this Friday. If you would like to give yourself a chance of winning, you can go to an authorised retailer in any participating country or choose your numbers online.
