Eurojackpot’s Top Prize Rolls Over to Reach €90 Million Cap

Eurojackpot players across the continent will have an opportunity to finish 2016 in style and join the game’s history books after the top prize rolled over to hit its €90 million cap for only the third time. Nine draws in a row have passed since anyone matched all five main numbers and both Euro numbers, but the latest rollover on Friday ensured the jackpot cap will be reached.

The numbers drawn in the last game on Friday 23rd December were 13, 27, 30, 42 and 46 with Euro numbers 3 and 4. Four ticket holders - two from Germany, one from Finland and one from the Netherlands – matched five main numbers and one Euro number to pocket €662,337 each, and over 1.2 million participants picked up prizes. Visit the Eurojackpot Results page to find a full prize breakdown.

The jackpot will now rise to €90 million for Friday’s draw and stay fixed at this amount until it is won. Any extra funds which would normally boost the pot for the top prize will instead go to the next winning tier, creating chances for players to land huge prizes even if they do not land the jackpot.

The last time the jackpot cap was hit was as recently as October, when a player from Germany eventually bagged the full €90 million. A ticket holder from the Czech Republic had previously also won €90 million back in May 2015.

If you fancy winning €90 million on Friday, you can play Eurojackpot online or by visiting authorised retailers in any of the countries which take part. You could just become the next big winner and set yourself up for the perfect 2017. Good luck!
