Eurojackpot’s top prize was won for a third consecutive draw on Friday 24th November as a player from Denmark matched all five main numbers plus both Euro numbers to pocket €10 million. A Danish ticket holder had also previously won €23.4 million on 10th November, while a German participant banked €10 million on 17th November.

The numbers drawn on Friday were 11, 16, 18, 22 and 43, with Euro numbers 7 and 8. As well as the jackpot winner, two players scooped €1.2 million each after matching five main numbers plus one Euro number. One of these winners came from Norway and the other from Poland, which only started selling Eurojackpot tickets in September.

Another five participants - two from Germany, two from Finland and one from Italy - matched five main numbers to win €86,908, while the other prizes won ranged from €7.10 for matching two main numbers and one Euro number to €6,035 for matching four main numbers plus two Euro numbers. Danish Success

Although Denmark is one of the smaller participating countries in Eurojackpot, it has been very successful this year. As well as the winner earlier this month, married couple Leif and Aase Sommer became €18 million richer on 6th January after sharing a €90 million jackpot with four other ticket holders. Leif and Aase set their sights on a new car and a holiday, while Leif even revealed that he planned to give a percentage of his winnings to his ex-wife.

The latest winner has not yet come forward, but it has been confirmed that the ticket was purchased at Super Brugsen in the town of Sakskobing on the south Danish island of Lolland. In Danish kroner, the winner will receive 63 million.

Four in a row?

The focus of Eurojackpot players across the continent will now turn to the next draw on Friday night, when the jackpot will remain at €10 million. It could just be that the top prize is won for a fourth time in a row, and you can take part by either choosing numbers online or going to an authorised retailer in one of the participating countries.
