Eurojackpot Top Prize Rolls Over to Hit €76 Million
One of the largest Eurojackpot prizes in history will be on offer in the next draw after no player matched all five main numbers and both Euro numbers on Friday 23rd September. There were still 981,905 players who picked up prizes, who picked up prizes, but the jackpot rolled over to grow to €76 million for next Friday’s draw.
The winning numbers from last Friday night were 1, 7, 23, 25 and 45 with Euro numbers 5 and 8. Four ticket holders, two from Germany and one each from Denmark and Italy, matched five main numbers and one Euro number to win €498,907 each, while another 12 participants - ten Germans and two Finns - won €58,695 each after matching five main numbers.
The remaining prizes won spanned from €7.40 for matching two main numbers and one Euro number to €3,010 for matching four main numbers and both Euro numbers. You can find more information, including a full prize breakdown, in the Eurojackpot Results section.
Anticipation is now building ahead of the next game this Friday, when someone could become one of Eurojackpot’s biggest winners. Jackpots of €84.7 million and €76.7 million, the second and third biggest prizes ever won, have been snapped up by German players this year, but these prizes could easily be overtaken if no one wins the jackpot this weekend.
Another rollover would also take the top prize tantalisingly close to the jackpot cap of €90 million, which has only previously been reached once in the four-and-a-half years since Eurojackpot was launched. A player from the Czech Republic won the entire prize on that occasion, in May 2015, but entrants from all 17 participating countries will be hoping they can win this Friday before the jackpot cap is hit.
If you would like to have a chance of winning the magnificent €76 million, then you can pick up tickets from authorised retailers in any of those 17 nations or just click the Play Eurojackpot button to get involved from anywhere in the world. Good luck!
