Friday’s Eurojackpot draw may have failed to produce a jackpot winner, but that certainly didn’t stop two players from winning prizes of €666,056. The lucky duo, from Germany and Finland, successfully matched five main numbers and one Euro number to claim the six-figure sum in a draw that proved lucrative for over 537,000 ticket holders.

The winning numbers were 1, 16, 18, 42 and 47, with 6 and 8 appearing as the Euro numbers. In addition to the two biggest prize winners on the night, the draw also proved fruitful for two players from Germany who each won €235,078 by matching all five main numbers. A further 537,247 players ended the night with prizes ranging from €8.60 for matching two main numbers and one Euro number to €4,897 for matching four main numbers and both Euro numbers. Friday evening’s draw saw players from Germany and Finland maintain their dominance in the top tiers of Eurojackpot prizes. Since the game was launched in March 2012, players from the two nations have enjoyed unrivaled success, particularly when it comes to winning the jackpot. In total, 26 of the 35 top prize winners have hailed from one of the two countries, with the last non-German/Finnish winner coming from Spain and collecting the jackpot on Friday 9th October 2015, a run that stretches back well over a year. However, with a the latest rollover taking the prize pot to an astonishing €29 million, players from the other 15 participating Eurojackpot nations will be desperate to end Germany and Finland’s stranglehold on the game.

If you would like to write your name into the Eurojackpot history books by becoming the 37th jackpot winner, simply purchase your ticket for this Friday’ draw online or from any authorised retailer in participating countries. Best of luck!
