Eurojackpot Hits the Maximum Payout Amount of €120 Million

Eurojackpot Hits the Maximum Payout Amount of €120 Million
Monday 5th October 2026 3:15 PM

The Eurojackpot has once again hit its maximum amount of €120 million (£100m+), guaranteeing a thrilling draw to come on Tuesday 6th October 2026.

Since the last major Eurojackpot win, the prize pool has been growing with every draw. With two drawings per week, it now is as high as it could get. Players are waiting with bated breath for the next drawing. Eurojackpot was most recently won in Germany on 25 August 2026, but this was the regular jackpot and not the maximum capacity jackpot.

If nobody wins the next Eurojackpot event, the prize freezes at €120 million and will not grow any bigger. But, excitingly enough, any excess revenue made from ticket sales will roll down into the second prize tier (Match 5 Numbers + 1 Euro Number). This means that the second prize can turn into an even more gargantuan fortune and has greater odds of being won, which are 1 in 7 million compared with the 1 in 140 million odds of the top jackpot.

This type of rollover has happened before in 2026, notably in May when a Czech Republic player won the massive maximum capacity jackpot. The €120 million jackpot has been won ten times since the cap was introduced in 2022. Twice it has been shared: between North Rhine-Westphalia and Slovenia in April 2024, and between North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate in December 2024.

The numbers drawn in Helsinki on the most recent drawing on 2nd October 2026 were 4, 6, 7, 17, 45, and the Euro numbers 7 and 12. Nobody won the giant prize but there were six winners of the second-tier prize, each scooping €562,247.60 – two in Hesse, two in Denmark, one in Lower Saxony and one in Poland. There were also ten winners of the third prize tier, each of whom will receive €190,248.90.
