Bavarian Player Hits €40.6 Million Win
Bavaria is celebrating after a recent Eurojackpot win on the 17th of June, when one lucky ticket holder matched all seven winning numbers and secured the entire €40,657,587.80 jackpot.
The winning numbers drawn were 10, 13, 15, 33, 35, with Euro Numbers 7 and 12. This win marks the eighth Eurojackpot jackpot winner of the year, adding to what has already been a remarkable year for players across Europe. The previous big win came just a few weeks earlier, on May 30th, when a player from Lower Saxony, also in Germany, scooped up €17.6 million.
While Bavaria claimed the top prize, six players across Europe matched five main numbers and one Euro number, each earning nearly €245,811. These second-tier winners came from Germany (with five winners), and Iceland, showing just how widespread the Eurojackpot lottery is.
