Tuesday’s draw brought the Eurojackpot grand prize to one lucky German player. The jackpot has been rolling over since 18th August when it was last won.

The winning numbers for the 19th September draw were 8, 18, 26, 38, 39, with the Euro numbers 4 and 12. In total, there were 481,616 winners, so make sure you carefully check your tickets to see if you are one of them as well.

The full amount of the jackpot is €65,950,426.80 and it has been confirmed that the winning ticket was purchased in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The winner will have three years from the date of the draw to claim their prize. The claiming rules are different for each participant country, so go to the How to Claim page to find out more about the process in case you win.

This draw seems to have been a special one as the jackpot winner scored two additional hits for the second prize tier. This means they will take home a total amount of €66,151,897.20. Moreover, someone who bought nine rows with identical winning numbers won the second tier prize. The lucky winner will get a total of €906,616.80, making them almost a millionaire.

In total, 18 second prizes were won, with their winners dispersed in different locations: Germany, the Netherlands, and Denmark.

There was something else which made this draw stand out—the third tier prize had the same amount as the second tier prize. Four Eurojackpot participants from Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Italy won €100,735.20 each.

Since the beginning of the year, the Eurojackpot first prize has been won 13 times. Germany seems to be a lucky participating country as nine winners out of 13 were German. The other winning countries this year were Finland, Denmark, Czech Republic, and Poland.

The jackpot has now been reset to its base amount of €10 million and it could be yours. With draws happening twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays, you also have a chance to win. Visit an authorised retailer in any of the participating countries or choose your numbers online.
