A Finnish Eurojackpot player from Tampere, in the south of the country, is €46.5 million better off after matching all five main numbers and two Euro numbers on Friday night. They became not only the second player from Finland to win the jackpot this year, but also the second ticket holder from Tampere too.

The winning numbers were 15, 16, 17, 23 and 30 with Euro numbers 6 and 9 and prizes ranged from €8.20 for matching two main numbers and one Euro number to €801,352 for the two players, from the Netherlands and Estonia, who matched five main numbers and one Euro number. You can see the full prize breakdown at the Eurojackpot Results page.

Friday’s winner bought his ticket online and made contact with lottery bosses over the weekend. He will now receive Finland’s 12th biggest lottery jackpot ever. Although the lucky player has decided to remain anonymous, he did reveal that he is a fan of local ice hockey team, Ilves. His success comes just three months after a three-person syndicate from the same city split the €86.9 million jackpot on Friday 14th April.

Eurojackpot returns this Friday with a jackpot worth €10 million. You can play at any authorised retailer in the participating nations or choose your numbers online for a crack at a life-changing jackpot win.
