The top prize in Eurojackpot has been won three times in a row, making it a great start to the new year following a record-breaking 2020.

The latest big win came on Friday 29th January and went to a player from Hungary, who landed €11 million. A Swedish ticket holder had also banked €13 million (139 million kr) in the previous draw on 22nd January, after someone from Germany pocketed €88 million on 15th January.

Prior to the big German payout, which went to a player from North Rhine-Westphalia, the top prize had rolled over six times. Go to the Eurojackpot Results page for more information about all the latest draws.

It is the first time since 2017 that the jackpot has been won in three consecutive draws, and carries on an excellent run from last year.

Record 2020

In 2020, there were a record 64 millionaires across all the Eurojackpot draws. There had been 42 prizes worth seven or eight figures given away in 2019, and it jumped up substantially last year.

Germany was the most successful country out of all the participating nations, claiming 37 of the 64 major prizes. The jackpot was won 11 times - another record for a single year - and both Slovakia and Norway saw their biggest-ever wins.

Eurojackpot has now created more than 300 millionaires since it was launched in 2012, including 167 from Germany.

The jackpot for the next draw will be worth €10 million and more history could be made if it is won for a fourth time in a row. Take part online or go to an authorised retailer in one of the participating countries.
