Jackpot Joy as German Ticket Holder Wins €10 Million Eurojackpot Prize
Germany continued its dominance in Eurojackpot after producing yet another jackpot winner, as a lucky ticket holder landed a €10 million top prize. The ticket holder from Bavaria, who is yet to make themselves known to lottery officials, correctly matched all five numbers and both Euro numbers to land what is certain to be a well-received sum of money.
Germany’s Eurojackpot Dominance
Ever since the launch of Eurojackpot in 2012, players in Germany been on top form, securing an incredible 24 jackpot wins, a total that dwarfs that of any other nation. Only Finland, a country able to boast 15 top prize winners, comes anywhere close to rivalling the Western European nation’s commanding lead. In fact, German ticket holders have stamped their authority on eight draws this year alone, a figure that outshines 16 of the 18 participating nations’ totals since the very first draw.
This is the third jackpot win in the space of just five draws. The recent run of good fortune began on Friday 23rd October, as a player from Finland walked away with €41.5 million, before a Danish ticket holder claimed €23.4 million in the draw on Friday 10th November.

The winning numbers in the Eurojackpot draw on Friday 17th November were 3, 4, 17, 41 and 47, with Euro numbers 2 and 5.
There may have been jubilant scenes for one ticket holder in Germany, but Friday’s Eurojackpot draw produced plenty more winners as an additional 586,516 players celebrated securing a host of amazing prizes. Two players - one from Germany and another from Finland - correctly matched five of the six main numbers to win €221,146 each, while 29 entrants collected €5,083 in the Match 4+2 prize tier.
