Eurojackpot Rolls Over as Two Players Win €4 Million

Eurojackpot may have rolled over at the jackpot cap of €90 million on Friday 7th October, but two players were able to celebrate wins of €4 million each for matching all five main numbers and one of the Euro numbers. When the jackpot reaches its maximum level of €90 million, any extra funds from ticket sales that would have boosted the top prize are instead rolled down to the Match 5+1 tier.

The winning Eurojackpot numbers were 1, 10, 20, 43 and 44 with Euro numbers 6 and 9 and the two big winners on the night hailed from Finland and the German state of Bavaria. Other prizes paid out ranged from €9 for matching two main numbers and one Euro number to €110,581 for matching five main balls. Take a look at the Results page to find the full prize breakdown from the night.

This Friday’s jackpot will remain at the cap of €90 million, with an additional €20 million on offer for any players who can match five main numbers and one Euro number, thanks to the roll-down rules for the game. If you were to hit the jackpot this week, you would become the joint-biggest winner in the game’s history, alongside a Czech player who scooped €90 million on 15th May 2015. That win also came in the second draw at the jackpot cap and, on that occasion, three ticket holders won €7.6 million each in the Match 5+1 tier.
