Having missed out on a €40 million jackpot this time around, Eurojackpot fans from across the continent will now turn their collective attention to this Friday’s draw, when the top prize is estimated to be worth a colossal €48 million. This is the largest top prize the lottery has offered since a ticket holder from Germany claimed a gargantuan cheque for over €76.7 million on the 25th of March this year. Any potential winner this Friday night would also be the recipient of the third-largest jackpot since the start of 2016, slotting in behind another German ticket holder who scooped €49.6 million on New Year’s Day.
