Biggest Eurojackpot Jackpot
Eurojackpot witnessed its largest-ever jackpot win on Friday 15th May 2015, when a Czech player matched all five main numbers and two Euro numbers to win an incredible prize of €90 million.
The winner, who bought his Eurojackpot ticket in the city of Pardubice, chose to remain anonymous, although the country’s betting agency Sazka revealed he was a middle-aged man. The lucky ticket holder took nearly three weeks to come forward, having spent time considering how to deal with his newfound wealth. On collecting his winnings, he chose to take an initial Kč270,000 (approximately €10,000) in cash and then left, insisting that he needed to catch a train.
