For only the second time in the game’s history, the Eurojackpot top prize has reached its cap of €90 million after the draw on Friday 30th September ended in a rollover, with no player claiming the €78.3 million on offer. It has been more than a year since a jackpot of this size has been seen on the game, with a Czech participant winning the same sum of money on Friday 15th May 2015.

The winning Eurojackpot numbers for last Friday were 4, 28, 29, 39 and 44 with Euro numbers 8 and 10. There was one player from Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany who matched five main numbers and one Euro number to win €2.4 million - the largest Eurojackpot prize won since a jackpot of €84.7 million was claimed on the 29th of July.

Another eight ticket holders - three Finns, three Germans, a Dane and an Italian - each won €106,065 in the Match 5 prize tier. A further 947,746 players won prizes ranging from €8.60 in the Match 2+1 tier to €6,285 in the Match 4+2 tier on what proved to be a prosperous night for Eurojackpot enthusiasts. Head to the Eurojackpot Results page for extra draw information and a complete prize breakdown.

Attention now turns to Friday’s upcoming draw, when the reward on offer will be a sensational €90 million. German ticket holders will have every reason to be confident ahead of the, having claimed 15 of the 34 jackpots won on the game, while the same could be said for Finland, with the Scandinavian nation narrowly trailing their European counterparts with ten jackpot wins. However, don’t discount a player from one of the other participating nations from crashing the party, with ticket holders across the continent no doubt determined to win what will be the joint-largest prize in Eurojackpot history.

If you would like to be in with a chance of claiming this amazing prize, you can play Eurojackpot by purchasing tickets online or from any authorised retailer in any of the game’s 17 participating countries. Good luck!
