Eurojackpot Results for Friday 8th July 2016
Friday’s Eurojackpot draw saw three lucky ticket holders from Finland, Germany and Hungary each secure a very handsome sum of €532,106 after matching five main numbers and one Euro number. There were rewards for over 621,000 players on the night, although the jackpot did go unclaimed for the eighth straight week, resulting in the top prize increasing to an astounding €58 million ahead of this Friday’s draw.
The winning numbers were 4, 19, 21, 31 and 42, with 5 and 10 appearing as the two Euro numbers. Away from the evening’s largest winners, an astonishing ten players walked away with €56,340 each for matching five main numbers, while a further 27 ticket holders found themselves €6,955 better off after matching four main numbers and both Euro numbers. An additional 621,148 Eurojackpot fans successfully claimed rewards ranging from €9 for matching two main numbers and a single Euro number to €295 for matching four main numbers and one Euro number. With no jackpot winners this time around, the Eurojackpot top prize has now soared to its highest total since Friday 25th March 2016, when one German ticket holder waltzed away with an incredible €76.7 million. The prize total on offer is also the second-largest in Europe, with only the Italian lottery SuperEnalotto offering a greater sum (€106.8 million). As if that wasn’t enough, any potential winner would have the honour of becoming the sixth winner of the Eurojackpot top prize this year and the 33rd winner since the lottery’s first draw in March 2012.
If you’d like to be in with a chance of pocketing this Friday’s life-changing prize, Eurojackpot tickets can be purchased online or from any authorised retailer in participating countries. Good luck!
